Our client requires a Transformation Consultant to work with client agencies currently migrating onto AFRRCS as their radio communications network.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Must be able to travel outside of Edmonton, but within the province to perform the Services for approximately 10% of the time.
  • Experience planning a migration of a First Responder Agency to a new LMR system (1 example within the last 5 years)
  • Must provide own: Laptop Computer, Cellular Phone and Vehicle to travel outside of Edmonton
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience of working with First Responders to design radio system agency fleet maps to support operations (2 examples)
  • Ability to work simultaneously with multiple end user agencies having diverse business or operational requirements (3 examples)
  • Experience matching First Responder Agency operational and technical requirements with the capability of a LMR system (2 examples)
  • Experience developing and executing radio system transition plans (3 examples)
  • Experience developing or overseeing end user service level agreements (2 examples)
  • Experience working with First Responder Agencies (1 example within the last 5 years)
  • Experience creating First Responder Agency training processes and material for use of LMR system (2 examples)
  • Experience demonstrating cost analysis and business case development and justification to funding organizations, municipal councils, government organizations, or governance boards (3 examples)
  • Demonstrate positive contributions and experience establishing, leading and participating in multi-disciplinary project teams (3 examples)
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish and manage business relationships at all levels based on trust, cooperation and mutual respect by providing specific examples of how relationships with clients have been managed at all levels to benefit the client organization (2 examples)
  • Capable of developing and managing agreements of an administrative and/or financial nature (2 examples)
  • Demonstrate their ability to organize and prioritize personal workloads by providing specific examples (2 examples)
  • Ability to facilitate and negotiate action plans and agreements with multiple stakeholders having diverse business or operational requirements (2 examples)
  • Demonstrate ability to plan and perform Harris P25 system Technical Administrator training courses (1 example within the last 2 years)
