Our client requires one to two business analysts to work along with a Solution Architect and project leadership team for enterprise solution delivery spanning application development, infrastructure, integration and COTS implementation. Responsibilities include cost analysis, requirements lifecycle management, project planning, risk management, product/system feature documentation and project performance tracking.
A hybrid work schedule is expected of 2-3 days working remotely and in person work is required 1- 2 days per week at client location in Winnipeg, MB.

Responsibilities
Duties Include:
- Performing detailed cost verification and breakdown, reviewing big-ticket items and value-added options, and identifying payment expectations
- Identifying deal breakers, clarifying proposal inclusions/exclusions, reviewing unique requirements, and approving contract terms
- Preplanning the project in detail, coordinating with critical parties, and preparing a project schedule with milestones
- Identifying and mitigating all project risks, including uncontrollable risks, and addressing client concerns
- Providing detailed product/system information and demonstrating additional features
- Tracking and documenting progress, reviewing key business drivers, and assessing project performance with measurable success factors
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst working on enterprise level Application Integration and Application Selection projects related to any of the following: ITSM, data protection, application/package selection, pension systems and/or data analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
- Excellent analysis and problem resolution skills.
- Excellent organizing and facilitation skills with cross- functional multi-department teams.
- Excellent communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
Desirable Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or other demonstrated relevant degree; or
- A college diploma with a specialization in Business Analysis or Project Management; and
- A certification in business analysis (ex: ECBA™, CCBA™ or CBAP™ or PMI-PBA®) or certification in project management (ex. PMP®, PRINCE2™).
- Experience working in a Higher Education environment is highly desirable
- 10 years of experience and responsibility for all aspects of business analysis, including but not limited to the creation and management of project deliverables such as the business requirements documentation (BRD), process mapping, gap analysis (including current state and future state documentation), stakeholder analysis, and weekly progress/status reports
- 10 years of experience facilitating workshops with varied stakeholders
- Experience in information technology related projects;
- Experience in Organizational Change Management (ex. Prosci), such as creating and implementing Operation Change Management and Communication plans
- Experience with senior executive and stakeholder management.
- Proficient with project management software (ex. MS-Project desktop, MS Project Online); and
- Proficient in the use of MS Office productivity tools (ex. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and
- Proficient in the use of MS Teams and SharePoint; and
- Experience with diagramming software (ex. MS Visio).
