Our client requires a consultant to engage in initial discovery activities and lead initiatives in stakeholder engagement, data analysis, training program development, and process improvement related to user lifecycle management. This includes updating or creating processes and forms for Organizational restructuring and request management. Duties include executing discovery processes related to user personas, creating stakeholder analysis and requirements, leading consultations, and escalating unresolved issues. The resource will provide input on project schedules, maintain stakeholder relationships, monitor progress, and validate functionality through acceptance testing. This role requires participating in framework development, assist in developing standards, ensure knowledge articles and training are defined, and provide status reports.
It is anticipated the role will be primarily remote, however in the event of an onsite meeting, the client will not pay for any travelling expenses. Onsite meetings include but are not limited to strategic, architectural, and technical discussions, meeting with team members, senior managers, directors, executive directors, and business clients. Frequency of meeting COULD BE up to 3-4 times per month. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the client.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must meet or exceed one of the following:
- University graduation in business, management or a related discipline and four-year Technical Business Analyst (BA) experience; OR
- Two-year diploma in business, management or a related discipline and six-year BA experience; OR
- One-year certificate in business, management or a related discipline and seven-year BA experience; OR
- Eight-year BA experience
- 8 years’ experience as a business analyst translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise IT environment.
- 8 years‘ experience Work with Identity Access Management in a complex organization.
- 8 years’ experience creating flowcharts/diagrams/analyses, including but not limited to activity, process flow, data flow, entity relationship, mind map, roadmap/plan, gap analysis, organizational chart, SWOT analysis, RACI matrix, UI wireframes, user personas/journey maps.
- 8 years’ experience identifying, analyzing and managing project risks on large, complex projects.
- 8 years’ experience in a project management role.
- 8 years’ experience in facilitating business workshops.
- 8 years’ experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments.
- 8 years’ experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT application development and maintenance projects.
- 8 years’ experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering
- 8 years’ experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Desirable Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions.
- 5 years’ experience with development and implementation of content management, document management, records management, information management processes in applications.
- 5 years’ experience within a Public Sector organization.
- 5 years’ experience with information management concepts, privacy, and security issues relating to FOIP.
- 5 years’ experience working within an agile development environment.
- 5 years’ experience Working with M365 Licensing.
- 5 years understanding of IT User Transitions.
