Our client requires two (2) Financial Analysts. Reporting to the Manager, as a Budget Analyst, you will work in a small team responsible for collecting and analyzing financial data to produce ministry forecasts and budgets

Resource will work onsite. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time.

Edmonton, Alberta (Onsite)

Mandatory Requirements
  • Relevant post-secondary education in the areas of business administration, accounting or finance, Acceptable education includes degrees, diplomas and certificates.
  • 1 year demonstrated experience with MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 1 year experience creating and managing project forecast and actual budgets.
Desirable Requirements
  • Pursuing CPA designation.
  • 1 year experience with Business Intelligence analytical tools such as, Excel PowerPivot, Cognos Cubes, and Microsoft PowerBI.
  • 1 year experience within a Canadian Public Sector organization.
  • 1 year experience providing strategic advice related to organizational structure, roles, and skillsets required to ensure successful delivery of public sector outcomes
  • 1 year relevant experience in a role similar to this. Experience must be applicable to this role.
