Our client requires a senior software tester to assist their team in the testing of agricultural and accounting commercial software packages on web and native mobile platforms.
Remote work from within Canada.
Regina, Saskatchewan (Remote from within Canada)
Responsibilities
Duties Include:
- Perform daily test the commercial software package which has both a web and native mobile interface (iOS/Android applications)
- Monitoring workflow on the Azure Dev Ops board
- Working in a Scrum environment with 2-week sprints along side a team of 5-6 other professionals
Mandatory Requirements
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience of:
- Manually testing web applications
- Manually testing iOS applications
- Manually testing Android applications
- Clearly verbally communicating and documenting how to repeat bugs
- Clearly documenting regressive test cases
Required Skills:
- Ability to clearly document and communicate how to repeat bugs so that anyone on the team can easily reproduce
- Ability to clearly document regressive test cases so that anyone on the team can easily repeat the test
- Ability to examine requirements and create test scenarios that thoroughly exercise the software
Desirable Requirements
- Understanding of basic relational database design
- Experience with automated UI testing using Cypress (web applications)
- Experience working in a Scrum environment
- Experience using Microsoft Dev Ops to track work
