Our client requires a Sr. PM whose primary assignment will be the IT Assets Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) project, aimed to implement a new ITAM solution (ServiceNow) for the client enterprise and replace the existing ITSM platform.
This position is designated as a ‘hybrid position’ which requires the resources to work at the office (with occasional work taking place at other Client facilities) at least 20% of the week. An expectation to work at the New Westminster location and travel to other client locations in the Greater Vancouver Area as requested at consultant’s expense. Resource shall be available during the Clients standard business office hours between 7:30AM–5PM Pacific Standard Time.

Mandatory Requirements
- 8+ years of experience managing complex projects is a must. Experience working in similar organizations in Canada is an asset.
- 3+ years of experience managing ServiceNow implementation projects is a must. A mix of experience implementing other ITSM platforms and ServiceNow may be considered.
- Experience managing projects with budgets of more than $2M and teams of more than 10 people is a must.
- 3+ years of experience with contract and vendor management
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or computer Science.
- 8+ years of full-cycle technology project management experience, preferably with experience in SDLC (full-cycle software development) projects, from developing a conceptual idea to requirements gathering to system design, system build, system test, training, and cutover.
- Extensive and proven experience managing stakeholders and an ability “to bring people together”.
- Must have excellent people skills, and excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Experience communicating and presenting to senior management and executives within a large organization is essential.
- Must display a sense of “urgency to get the job done”.
- Solid PM discipline managing risks, changes, issues, time, scope, resources, budget, and quality
- Extensive and proven experience facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to gain and use an understanding of the wider program goals in deciding the supporting project strategies/objectives.
- Proven ability to manage/coordinate activities and resources in conjunction with other inter-related program projects.
- Experience developing and implementing technology projects and business process initiatives designed to improve efficiency.
- Experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements and information from key business areas.
- Experience leading an interdisciplinary team of technical and business resources effectively.
- Experience with the standard MS Office tools -including Microsoft Project-, and SharePoint.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience or understanding of organizational change (OCM) in projects is highly desirable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a plus
