Our client requires a project manager to manage large-scale SharePoint migration initiatives for transitioning from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online while integrating with the M365 suite and addressing complexities in Enterprise Content Management systems. Responsibilities include overseeing the coordination, planning, and execution of IT projects, including stakeholder management, risk escalation, and communication strategies. Additionally, this role requires producing detailed deliverables and ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture while supporting change management and governance processes.
Resource will work remotely.

Responsibilities
Duties Include:
- Coordinating and managing IT projects, ensuring deadlines and responsibilities are met.
- Developing project plans, schedules, charters, and supporting documentation.
- Facilitating communication with stakeholders and escalate risks as necessary.
- Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
- Monitoring project progress, report status, and delivering final presentations.
- Leading change management and providing guidance on work priorities
Mandatory Requirements
- Must meet or exceed one of the following:
- University graduation in business, management or related discipline, and four years of Project Management (PM) experience; OR
- Two-year diploma in business, management or related discipline and six years of PM experience; OR
- One year certificate in business, management or related discipline and seven years of PM experience; OR
- Eight years of PM experience
- 6 years’ experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- 8 years’ experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
- 8 years’ experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- 6 years’ experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) within a large and complex public sector environment.
Desirable Requirements
- 5 years’ experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios.
- 4 years’ experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project.
- 5 years’ experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, including executive level.
- 2 years’ experience in project coordination of government and vendor-wide information management / information technology initiatives
- 8 years’ experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
- 5 years’ experience leading change management and communication planning.
- 6 years’ experience leading custom software application development projects following a formal project life cycle methodology.
- 3 years’ experience working in or for the public sector.
- 3 years’ experience working on Enterprise Content Management systems within government.
- 3 years’ senior leadership experience working in the public sector (ideally Canada) with a sound knowledge of its stakeholders, business functions and informational requirements.
