Our client requires an experienced server analyst to join their Domain Access Management Team to provided day-to-day operations within their centralized Windows Active Directory (ADS). This includes object creation and maintenance, maintenance of user access to network resources, file permissions and security, reporting, development and modifying of administrative guidelines and processes, etc.

The resource may also be responsible to provide technical support and solutions for data and resources. This includes providing training, support and overseeing other team members, participation in internal projects, attend project meetings and work with the external technical teams. Delegation of administrative authority to groups is done by this team.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested and have knowledge in applying AI in operations environment and using AI to automate processes.

Resource will work remotely within Alberta. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Alberta, due to network and data security issues. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings.

Mandatory Requirements
  • The proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following:
    • University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 2-yr User Account Administration (UAA) experience; OR
    • 2-yr diploma in computer science or a related discipline and 4-yr UAA experience; OR
    • 1-yr certificate in computer science or a related discipline and 5-yr UAA experience; OR
    • 6-yr UAA experience
  • 3 years’ strong understanding of New Technology File System Permissions and best practices.
  • 3 years’ experience creating local and global security groups and applying permissions to access files, folders and resources on Windows 2016 (from windows 2008) servers.
  • 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Exchange 2010 Administrator to manage email accounts, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and public folders.
  • 3 years’ experience using Windows 2016 Active Directory to manage all objects for a large-scale environment (over 5000 users).
  • 2 years’ experience with a problem tracking software and process workflow such as, BMC Remedy AR System.
  • 3 years’ experience with Service Now or alternative ticker management system for Change Management, Incident Management and Service Requests.
Desirable Requirements
  • 3 years’ experience creating accounts using Active Roles 7.0 (or newer) Console
  • 1 year experience in large enterprise Domain environment or an environment.
  • 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • 1 year experience with 3rd party utilities such as Dell Security Explorer 9.6
  • 1 year experience with LDAP Query software (rADium).
  • 1 year experience with Remote Access software (Terminal Services, VPN, and Citrix).
  • 1 year experience with Robocopy.
  • 1 year experience with scripting tools, such as Powershell.
  • 2 years’ experience with the GOA IT infrastructure, business direction, strategies, shared service initiatives and/or applications
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, troubleshoot, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage stress and conflict.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management and vendors.
  • Experience applying AI in operation environment
  • Knowledge of applying AI in Active Directory and Azure
