Our client requires a Senior UX Designer to provide specialized user experience, user interface, and service design services in support of prioritized digital products and public services. Working collaboratively with staff, divisional partners, researchers, content specialists, developers, and other stakeholders, the Senior UX Designer will help improve priority user journeys and ensure that solutions respond to validated user needs, business requirements, operational constraints, and legislative obligations.
The assignment may include discovery and user research; journey mapping and service design; information architecture; interaction and interface design; prototyping; usability testing; content and search recommendations; accessibility reviews; and contributions to the client’s design system. The Senior UX Designer will lead or support these activities according to project priorities confirmed by the client and will provide stakeholder engagement, knowledge transfer, and adoption support throughout the assignment.
The expected outcomes are accessible, usable, consistent, and implementation-ready digital experiences that improve task completion and findability, reduce avoidable user effort and drop-off, address prioritized design debt, and strengthen the reuse of approved client design-system components and patterns. Work will be delivered iteratively, with priorities, timelines, dependencies, and acceptance criteria agreed upon with the designated client authority.
Work is hybrid with 3 days per week onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.
