Our client requires a Data Analytics Specialist to provide quantitative data analysis, statistical analysis, economic evaluation and reporting services for a Virtual Reality (VR) healthcare training platform. The resource will assess training effectiveness, knowledge and skills acquisition, scalability and implementation costs compared with standard training, including descriptive and comparative cost analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) and budget impact analysis (BIA). This assignment includes preparing findings to support broader implementation decisions, briefs and publications.

Work is remote.

Mandatory Requirements

• Post-Secondary degree
• Proven history of published work related to economic evaluation in a healthcare setting within the last ten (10) years. Copies of publications will be required.
• Experience conducting economic evaluations of educational technologies, including virtual reality (VR), simulation-based training, digital learning tools, or comparable technologies within the last ten (10) years
• Minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience within the last eight (8) years conducting quantitative data analysis. For the purposes of this criterion, quantitative analysis includes: Data cleaning and preparation; Descriptive statistical analysis; and Inferential statistical analysis.
• Minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience within the last eight (8) years conducting economic evaluations. For the purposes of this criterion, economic evaluations activities include:
  • Descriptive cost analysis; Comparative cost analysis;
  • Cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA); and
  • Budget impact analysis (BIA).
• Possesses a valid TCPS (Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans) CORE-2022 certificate completed within 24 months of date of tender.
