Our client requires a Senior Enterprise Architect/Strategist to lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide architecture and technology strategy, supporting digital transformation and innovation. This role involves guiding platform modernization, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, and shaping a secure, scalable, and future-ready digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will provide strategic oversight, serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, and drive clarity and collaboration in complex environments.
Work is hybrid.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Supply Ontario’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy to support a secure, agile, and integrated digital environment.
- Define and maintain the enterprise business capability map, aligning IT investments to strategic priorities and future-state operating models.
- Provide strategic oversight and architecture direction across key domains, including cloud infrastructure, IAM, integration platforms, data platforms, and governance frameworks.
- Develop and align architecture roadmaps with business transformation objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making and scalable platforms.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, preparing and delivering executive-level briefings and strategic planning materials.
Mandatory Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is required.
- 10+ years’ experience of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or IT leadership roles within complex organizations.
- 5+ years’ demonstrated expertise across core architecture domains: application, data, technology, infrastructure, and security.
- 5+ years’ experience developing and operationalizing enterprise architecture strategies and frameworks, ideally in both private and public sector settings.
- 5+ years’ in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), data platforms, IAM, integration frameworks (API/Middleware), and modern governance practices.
- 5+ years’ experience defining and implementing enterprise-wide governance models, architecture standards, and technology roadmaps
Desirable Requirements
- A Master’s degree and/or certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, Azure/AWS architecture, or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) are considered strong assets.
