Our client requires a GIS Analyst to provide deliverables including comprehensive system deployment documents, reliable administration of ArcGIS Enterprise and FME Flow/Form, and thorough documentation of support and system administration tasks. Additionally, the resource will cover the completion of data integration workflows, timely resolution of GIS incidents, development of GIS web applications, maintenance of Esri geodatabases, and contributions to team knowledge sharing, along with weekly status updates.
This position is designated as a ‘hybrid position’ which requires the resources to work at the office (with occasional work taking place at other Client facilities) every two weeks. An expectation to work at the New Westminster location and travel to other client locations in the Greater Vancouver Area as requested at consultant’s expense. Resource shall be available during the Clients standard business office hours between 7:30AM–5PM Pacific Standard Time.

Responsibilities
- Participate in all other related project work as defined by the Team Lead or manager.
- Administering and maintaining GIS and FME platforms, servers, databases, and licenses.
- Supporting and maintaining GIS client solutions and integrations.
- Performing data acquisition, transformation, conversion, and quality assurance tasks.
- Troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and data-related issues in the GIS environment.
- Responding to ad hoc GIS support requests and contributing to department-led GIS projects.
- Acting as a technical and educational resource on GIS tools, practices, and data visualization.
- Staying up to date with evolving GIS technology, programming tools, and best practices
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree or diploma from a recognized university or institute with an emphasis in GIS or Computer Science, plus 5+ years of GIS‐related experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in government or similar organizations) in GIS system development, support, and integration.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in administering ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop (10.8.2)/Pro (3.2.1), and FME Flow/Form (2023.3).
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Esri ArcGIS Pro and Desktop
- Safe Software’s FME Form and Flow
- Web GIS tools including Experience Builder, Dashboards, Field Maps, Survey123
- Esri Geodatabases, ArcGIS REST APIs, .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML
- ArcGIS Python API, Jupyter Notebooks
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Supporting ArcGIS Online and Enterprise integrations
- Performing complex data QA/QC tasks
- Solving GIS technical problems and conducting root cause analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
