Our client requires three (3) Intermediate level Project Managers (minimum 5 years of working experience/knowledge with the Personal Health Information Protection Act) to liaise with internal and external clients and teams to build positive relationships by being accountable for successful completion of deliverables, providing advice and subject matter expertise on the client’s program standards activation, services, and support. The PMs will look for opportunities to champion interoperability and the roll-out of standards and ensure alignment of client program objectives through appropriate messaging through multiple communication channels.

Work is onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Mandatory Requirements
  • 5+ years’ working knowledge of Ontario personal health information privacy legislation and regulation (i.e. Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004).
  • 5+ years’ experience with Project Management concepts (e.g., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management).
  • 5+ years’ experience collaborating with various groups to coordinate and manage working group meetings, gather updates and maintain progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc.
  • 5+ years’ experience working alongside project and program managers in a highly complex environment with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and partners; while providing updates, escalating where required, identifying risks, and managing project document deliverables.
  • 5+ years’ public sector experience, ideally in Canadian healthcare in acute care, primary care and/or community care settings.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in managing engagement of large scale, complex, high profile, and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise wide.
  • Demonstrated experience with effectively communicating and delivering presentations to healthcare stakeholders. This includes experience providing program, portfolio, and/or project reporting to multiple stakeholders (e.g., clinical, technical and vendor audiences).
  • Experience working in the health sector or public sector organizations
Desirable Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with existing OH digital health assets and standards.
  • Knowledge and experience with structured clinical documents.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province of Ontario.
  • Experience working with Ontario’s healthcare system.
  • Ability to readily identify, assess and mitigate implementation and adoption issues.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
