Our client requires an Intermediate Project Manager, with Ontario Health Care experience, to plan and implement the client’s Primary Care Clinical Leadership Table Revitalization Project. This resource will lead the development of key project management artifacts (project charter, project management plan, scope statement/work breakdown structure, project schedule, interest holder matrix, RACI matrix, communication plan, RAID log, etc.). This resource will collaborate closely with key interest holders to reach agreement on the project management approach and aforementioned project management artifacts. This resource will leverage existing knowledge of the primary care sector to identify priority workstreams and strategic areas to guide the revitalization project.

Work is onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Public sector experience, ideally in the Ontario primary care sector.
  • 5+ years’ experience collaborating with various groups to coordinate and lead working group meetings, gather updates and maintain progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc.
  • 5+ years’ experience working alongside project and program managers in a highly complex environment with internal and external stakeholders and partners; while providing updates, escalating where required, identifying risks, and leading project document deliverables.
  • 5+ years’ experience collaborating with a various of interest holders including senior leadership in government agencies, with regional agency colleagues, as well as primary care clinicians.
  • Experience with Project Management concepts (e.g., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management).
  • Working knowledge of Ontario personal health information privacy legislation and regulation (i.e. Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004).
  • Working knowledge of Ontario Health and Ontario Primary Care legislation (i.e. Primary Care Act, 2025, Connecting Care Act, 2019).
  • Strategic vision and the ability to navigate complex confidential situations with changing parameters
Desirable Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
  • Experience managing and coordinating project monitoring, anticipates and troubleshoots issues, provides ongoing expertise, resolves problems and provides project effectiveness.
  • Ability to identify conflict between project and functional areas and develops responses to successfully address conflict.
  • Ability to handle client relationships to manage expectations, provides updates as required, identifies potential conflicts between project and functional areas.
  • Ability to readily identify, assess and mitigate implementation and adoption issues.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
