Our client requires a Project Manager, with extensive experience in digital health standards (and a certification or experience in adult learning, content design and/or technical e-learning), to guide the transition and redesign of Enterprise Terminology Services by coordinating standards based workflows, training, and planning activities that enable a consistent, scalable terminology capability across the Agency. This role will additionally provide Project Management support for DHS Priority projects.

Resource must reside within Ontario to access client systems. Work is remote subject to manager discretion.

Toronto, Ontario (Remote within Ontario)

Mandatory Requirements
  • Certification or experience in adult learning, content design and/or technical e-learning
  • Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in digital health standards
  • Extensive experience in partner engagement and facilitation for digital health initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of digital exchange standards such as FHIR, clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED-CT, LOINC) and their application within Agency with applicable terminology tools (e.g., Ontoserver)
  • Extensive expertise in project planning, scheduling, risk/issue management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of pan-Canadian digital exchange standards and terminology tooling/technologies
  • Public Sector experience is a must
Desirable Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Products, with a preference for candidates that have experience with Microsoft based cloud tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365).
  • College/University undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province of Ontario
  • Ability to readily identify, assess and mitigate implementation and adoption issues
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
