Our client requires a Pay Compare and ECP Module Co-Lead to co-lead payroll compare testing and testing with the Employee Services Department staff during the SAP Cloud ERP solutions implementation. This resource will be responsible for co-leading multi-disciplinary teams consisting of consultants, contractors, business partners and stakeholders and co-leading payroll compare cycles, ensuring accurate pay.

Work is remote/onsite negotiable and based on needs. Successful candidate must clear an Enhanced Security Clearance (ESC) prior to start.

Mandatory Requirements

Mandatory Requirements Include

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Experience supporting the integrated testing process (developing and maintaining test scripts and scenarios) to discover and mitigate errors and issues impacting pay
  • Intricate knowledge of the ECP Configuration (how it works with EC and WFS)
  • Excellent understanding of Canadian Payroll Processing Methodology
  • Strong understanding of SAP payroll
  • Strong understanding or accreditation in Project Management
  • Experience with payroll system configuration
  • Experience and/or accreditation related to Payroll management and processing for large, unionized environment
  • Ability to interpret business requirements/issues and provide go-forward recommendations
  • Experience in building and delivering payroll process/service delivery design
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and root cause identification skills, able to use data to present challenges and solutions and opportunities to leadership

Requirements Include

  • Certificate or Degree in a related field
  • Experience with and knowledge of key integration points between SAP SuccessFactors modules an asset
  • IT system integration experience
  • Ability to interpret business requirements/issues and provide go-forward recommendations
  • Deep understanding of HR business functions and processes as they relate to payroll
  • Experience in building and delivering payroll process/service delivery design
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills to develop and deliver engaging workshops with complex and detailed payroll subject matter
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and root cause identification skills, able to use data to present challenges and solutions and opportunities to leadership
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate multiple groups, projects, and situations
  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze issues to make decisions, recommend viable and effective solutions and summarize and manage information
