Our client requires a Senior System & Storage Administrator to be a hands-on technical expert across servers, backup, storage, and virtualization in a Hybrid environment (on-premises and cloud). This resource will play a critical role in ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams and end users to resolve issues that impact business operations.
Work is remote, hybrid or onsite.
Victoria, British Columbia (Hybrid, Remote or Onsite)
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience with backup and storage systems using Netapp (installation, maintenance, and patching, etc.).
- Minimum of five years of computer systems administration and operations experience, including
- Installing, maintaining, securing, and monitoring computer systems
- Resolving computing systems incidents and problems in a complex infrastructure environment.
- Virtualization e.g., VMware, Hyper-V.
- Minimum of three years of experience working within operational and project cross functional teams of staff, contractors, and external service providers.
Desirable Requirements
- Azure and/or OCI Certifications
- Certification in Netapp
- Linux server administration
- Experience with Azure cloud storag
- Experience with Cohesity
- Experience with NetBackup
