Our client requires five (5) ServiceNow Developers who will manage the Tier 2 support incidents, service requests related to the application, and system administration duties. The developers will be split into two groups, with one group being dedicated to issue resolution and service request fulfilment on a prioritized first in, first out queue, and the other group will be dedicated to managing an enhancement queue on a prioritized first in, first out basis.

The ServiceNow Developer’s will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions; Queue Management of incidents, service requests, and enhancements; System Administration and Maintenance related to the ServiceNow platform; Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems; Automate repetitive tasks and processes using ServiceNow capabilities; and more.

Resource will primarily work remotely but will need to travel to Victoria, BC once in three months. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site.

Mandatory Requirements

Mandatory Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Proven experience in developing and configuring complex ServiceNow projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, especially IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
  • Experience working with end users to derive requirements, understand their issues, and provide effective resolutions.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and other web development technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, IRE, and the CMDB health and remediation rules
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Strong competence in working directly with end users to understand their requirements, issues, and objectives.
  • Proven ability to analyze end user problems and work through resolutions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with end users and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITOM, ITSM, ITAM) are a plus.
