Our client requires a skilled UX Designer to support the client’s large-scale business modernization program. This role will extend across multiple projects, tools, and systems to establish a unified user experience of usability, accessibility, and engagement for farmers, agents, and producers. Duties include collaborating with cross-functional teams to create seamless interactions, consistent design languages, and intuitive workflows; influence the modernization journey; and apply user-centered design principles and creating visually appealing interfaces tailored to the unique needs of the agriculture sector.
This position will be onsite in Melville, SK with an option for remote with occasional travel required.

Mandatory Requirements
- Active Certifications in User Experience design, such as Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA) by Human Factors International (HFI) – Focuses on advanced UX strategies and aligning UX design with business goals, UX Design by Google, Nilesen Norman Group certifications, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a proven track record of designing and delivering user-centric digital solutions.
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups tailored to user needs preferably in the agriculture, insurance, crop insurance, public service or financial services industry.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing preferably with producers/farmers, agents and agriculture stakeholders.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex data-driven platforms, preferably within the public sector, citizen services, agriculture, or insurance context.
Desirable Requirements
- Familiarity with SAAS P&C insurance platforms, especially in designing interfaces and workflow policy, billing, and claims management.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software, with a strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices
- Experience in responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with, ensuring alignment with Canadian data privacy laws (e.g., Saskatchewan’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act).
- Strong understanding of data visualization techniques.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders including employees, external vendors, advocacy groups (e.g. producer or commodity organizations) and government agencies.
