Our client requires a project manager to lead end to end delivery of enterprise AI enablement across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Chat, Copilot Studio, and GitHub Copilot, ensuring secure and compliant rollout of production ready capabilities. Responsibilities include translating approved use cases, governance controls, and risk treatments into actionable implementation plans, coordinating identity, access, compliance, and DLP prerequisites across the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystems. This role requires hands on technical fluency to guide governance, prototype Copilot Studio agents, and manage complex security and compliance gates throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Work is hybrid with 3 days per week onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities
- Leading enterprise rollout of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Chat, including licensing activation, onboarding, training coordination, technical readiness, and phased adoption measurement.
- Planning and managing development, environment setup, and governance controls for Copilot Studio agents, including DLP policies, access controls, and Power Platform administration.
- Overseeing GitHub Copilot enablement by coordinating technical implementation, onboarding processes, policy alignment, and security reviews with engineering and security stakeholders.
- Driving completion of security, privacy, compliance, and risk assessments (e.g., TRA, SAR, IAM, PIA) and ensuring all governance gates and Purview compliance models are integrated into delivery plans.
- Producing executive level reporting, managing risks and dependencies, facilitating cross team collaboration, and maintaining audit ready documentation, approvals, and release artifacts.
- Developing integrated rollout plans, operational readiness materials, agent prototypes, adoption reporting, and complete production handoff packages supporting enterprise AI transformation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Post secondary education in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- This role requires hands-on technical fluency with Microsoft 365 Copilot/Microsoft Chat and Copilot Studio and is not intended for generalist project management profiles
- Experience delivering M365 or enterprise SaaS rollouts involving technical implementation, licensing, onboarding, training, comms, and adoption measurement.
- Experience with Power Platform / Copilot Studio delivery is a strong asset (agents, environments, governance).
- Experience coordinating delivery gates across security/privacy/compliance stakeholders (e.g., assessments/risk treatment approach).
- Familiarity with M365 rollout prerequisites and operational dependencies (identity, access patterns, end-user readiness steps documented for pilots).
- Lead technical prerequisites and readiness steps for enterprise roll-out and user access.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical topics (security, privacy, identity, governance) into delivery decisions and user-facing guidance.
- Demonstrated judgement and accountability in a public sector or similar environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Project Management’s Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
- 5+ years delivering complex technology rollouts or digital enablement initiatives in large organizations.
- Ability to handle client relationships to manage expectations, provides updates as required, identifies potential conflicts between project and functional areas.
