UI/UX Designer (Web and Mobile)

Our client requires an UI/UX Designer to deliver consistent, well-crafted, and user-friendly UI designs for web and mobile applications.

Ensure all designs meet digital accessibility standards, including creating compliant interfaces, conducting QA, and performing holistic audits to support company-wide accessibility initiatives. Design user-centered products and services, addressing the full spectrum of users’ touchpoints, motivations, and needs and more.

Remote work from within Canada or USA.

Mandatory Requirements

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably for both web and mobile platforms, with a portfolio showcasing Data entry interface designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Up-to-date example portfolio that outlines previous design projects that demonstrates your skills. Preference for examples of both web and mobile designs.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with contributing/managing a design System to ensure consistency across applications.
  • Expertise in designing accessible interfaces and conducting accessibility audits.
  • Proficiency in Figma, advanced skills in properties.
  • Proven experience working closely with developers to ensure effective implementation of designs, including providing quick-turnaround solutions during sprints.
  • Clear communication of design requirements and decisions to product stakeholders and peer designers, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience designing enterprise-level products, preferably within the financial sector.
  • Understanding Tokens concept.
  • Ability to plan and conduct user research (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys), analyze findings, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Familiarity with Canadian agriculture or experience with agricultural software.
  • Experience using Jira for task tracking. Knowledge of Scrum or Agile methodologies, with experience delivering rapid, iterative designs under tight deadlines.
