Our client requires a senior Solution Architect to create a cloud strategy, provide architectural, software development, and maintenance services for new applications, using Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure, and developing serverless cloud-based applications using C#, .NET, NoSQL databases, and VS Code. This includes building, testing, and deploying legacy applications while managing software quality, leading code reviews, designing RESTful APIs, and providing leadership and direction.
Resource shall provide the Services remotely.

Mandatory Requirements
- University degree or two-year diploma in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution and five (5) years of experience as an architect on software development projects; OR One-year certificate in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution and seven (7) years of experience as an architect on software development projects.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the role of architect working on Amazon AWS software development projects.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an architect on software development projects using all of the following: C#, .NET development, SQL Server, Visual Studio; JavaScript frameworks Angular (2.0 or higher) and/or React.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience architecting cloud native serverless applications utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience architecting cloud native serverless applications utilizing microservices.
- Experience architecting applications with the JavaScript frameworks Angular (2.0 or higher) and React.
- Experience in a technical leadership role on education orientated software development projects.
- Experience with NoSQL.
