Our client requires a Full Stack Developer to support the modernization and expansion of Virtual Care Products, with a specialized focus on advanced video platform integration, clinical workflow integration, identity workflow integration, and retirement or replacement of legacy TSM-related functionality. This resource must be a senior specialist in ReactJS, Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, Pexip APIs, Zoom APIs, HL7v2, FHIR, and NetIQ workflow integration. The role will support advanced virtual care capabilities including virtual waiting rooms, breakout workflows, provider and patient session orchestration, multi-party clinical encounters, video bridge integration, scheduling integration, and secure workflow integration with identity and access management platforms. The resource will be expected to design, build, integrate, troubleshoot, document, and support production-grade virtual care components that align with the Agency requirements for privacy, security, accessibility, auditability, interoperability, and operational support.

Work is hybrid and resource is required onsite as needed at client location in Toronto, ON.

Mandatory Requirements

Mandatory Requirements Include:

  • Public Sector experience is a must have
  • 7+ years of hands-on ReactJS development experience building complex production-grade web applications.
  • 10+ years of Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot development experience, including backend services, APIs, integrations, and database-driven applications.
  • 5+ years of hands-on specialist experience with Pexip APIs and Zoom APIs, including integration of video platform capabilities into enterprise or healthcare applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HL7v2 interfaces, FHIR APIs, clinical workflow integration, scheduling integration, and healthcare interoperability patterns.
  • Experience integrating React applications with Java/Spring Boot microservices, external APIs, video platforms, identity systems, healthcare integration services, and backend data services.
  • Experience working with NetIQ workflows, identity-enabled application workflows, access management workflows, or enterprise IAM workflow integration.
  • Experience designing and supporting secure, scalable, accessible, auditable, and maintainable healthcare.

Required Skills:

  • ReactJS frontend development.
  • Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot backend development.
  • REST API design, integration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Pexip API and Zoom API integration.
  • HL7v2 interface design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • FHIR API integration and clinical workflow integration.
  • Video platform workflow integration, including video bridge integration, participant management, waiting room workflows, breakout workflows, and provider/patient workflow support.
  • NetIQ workflow or enterprise IAM workflow integration.
  • Secure application development, including authentication, authorization, audit logging, privacy-aware design, and role/context-based access.
  • Database access, data modelling, SQL, JDBC, and backend integration patterns.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience with Telemedicine Network workflows virtual care workflows, and video service delivery models.
  • Experience with video bridge programming, Pexip configuration, Pexip API integration, Zoom API integration, and virtual visit workflow orchestration.
  • Experience building Java Spring Boot microservices in a healthcare, virtual care.
  • Experience with AWS OpenSearch for search, discovery, logging, analytics, operational monitoring, or troubleshooting use cases.
  • Experience with scheduling workflows, encounter workflows, provider workflows, patient workflows, privacy, security, accessibility, audit logging, and operational monitoring.
