Our client requires a Full Stack Developer to assist the client’s Transit IT division with application support for their new ICIP project ClearCom (Bus radio and ITS replacement).
Resource will have the option to work either remotely or in a hybrid arrangement. Resource will be asked to come onsite, at their own expense, for the first week for orientation at client location in Winnipeg, MB. When working onsite resource shall provide their own transportation and parking arrangements.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed work plan for SDLC activities to accommodate completion of the work within the specified project timeline and budget.
- Participate in the full software engineering lifecycle: requirements, design, source code implementation, unit test, integration, and system test
- Collaborate with Solution designer and software developers to ensure the complete solution meets performance and reliability requirements.
- Participate in code reviews to improve quality and compliance.
Mandatory Requirements
Mandatory Requirements Include:
- 8+ years of senior full stack software development experience with React including with MUI, NodeJS., building large applications with complex API and data integration. Experience with Ruby on Rails and Go is a plus
- Strong UI/UX and front-end development skills, including component architecture, responsive UI implementation, and translating design specs into polished interfaces.
- 7+ years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL
- Must have experience with Apache Kafka in complex applications.
Skills and Depth Include:
- Solid programming skills with the ability to write structured, readable, and efficient code, and to rapidly prototype, implement, and debug solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to respond to changing priorities and circumstances.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
