Our client requires a Trainer to lead enterprise ERP training and outreach for a large-scale business transformation environment, including role-based training strategy, learning needs analysis, curriculum design, and delivery planning. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and facilitating complex instructor-led, virtual, blended, and online learning solutions while maintaining training governance, quality assurance, accessibility, version control, and continuous improvement processes. Resource will work with stakeholders, SMEs, business process owners, vendors, and change networks to support learner readiness, performance outcomes, and effective adoption of ERP-related processes across finance, HCM/payroll, supply chain, and related business functions.

Resource will work onsite at client location in Edmonton, AB.

Mandatory Requirements
  • University graduation in a related field (such as Adult Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration or related) plus four (4) years progressively responsible related experience OR diploma in a related field and a minimum six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience; or equivalent as described below.
    • Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
      • 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
      • 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
  • 4 years demonstrated knowledge of training needs analyses and competency development frameworks.
  • 6 years’ experience developing and teaching training materials, including developing computer based training modules/training videos.
  • 4 years’ experience leading curriculum design projects from inception to completion.
  • 4 years’ experience with a variety of learning/training concepts and principles, including knowledge of adult learning techniques.
  • 4 years’ professional experience in learning and development.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at one time and to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • The ability to work with and interact professional with a diverse group.
Desirable Requirements
  • 4 years advanced level proficiency with MS Office Tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other related training software. For example, need to work with templates and create new templates.
  • 4 years demonstrated experience with training evaluation methods including formative and summative evaluation approaches.
  • 4 years’ experience developing and implementing effective training plans.
  • 4 years’ experience developing computer-based training videos using Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline or equivalent.
  • 4 years’ experience with Digital Adoption Tools (e.g., WalkMe) for creating in-application guidance and support.
  • 4 years working knowledge of SAP applications is an asset.
