Our client requires a Project Manager to provide end-to-end delivery oversight and coordination across multiple concurrent, high-priority IT initiatives involving cybersecurity vulnerability mitigation, legacy server remediation, infrastructure modernization, and SharePoint Online migration. Resource will manage interdependent workstreams, vendors, stakeholders, approvals, schedules, governance, risks, issues, and operational transitions to ensure projects meet delivery commitments while reducing legacy platform, security, and operational risk.

Resource will work remotely but must be available to be on-site when requested for meetings. Possibility of up to 15% onsite meetings. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must meet or exceed one of the following:
  • University graduation in business, management or related discipline, and four years of Project Management (PM) experience; OR
  • Two-year diploma in business, management or related discipline and six years of PM experience; OR
  • One year certificate in business, management or related discipline and seven years of PM experience; OR
  • Eight years of PM experience
• Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent (a copy of the certificate must be provided)
• 5 years’ experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs, project closures, dashboards.
• 5 years’ experience in a project management role
• 4 years’ experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• 3 years’ experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations.
• 3 years’ experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) in a large-scale enterprise environment (preferably public sector).
• 3 years’ experience working with information management and cybersecurity policies, directives, and guidelines within limited timelines.

Desirable Requirements

• 3 years’ experience in collaborating with and coordinating project dependencies and plans with other related projects.
• 4 years’ experience in project coordination of government and vendor-wide information management / information technology initiatives
• 5 years’ experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
• 3 years’ experience leading change management and communication planning.
• 3 years’ experience overseeing and implementing server and network infrastructure projects.
• 3 years’ experience overseeing and implementing SharePoint migrations.
• 3 years’ experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment within Canada (preferably public sector organization).
