Our client requires two (2) Business Analysts to support a large-scale Human Capital Management transformation focused on workforce management, time and attendance, and payroll-related processes. Duties include supporting process documentation, solution design, stakeholder engagement, data conversion, SQL-based validation, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), risk management, and project delivery.
Work is hybrid with 2 days minimum per week in Edmonton office + full weeks in office when SI (System Integrator) is in office and requires onsite work.

Responsibilities
- Updates documented current business processes for Human Resources and related modules
- Provides input and reviews relevant design documents, including solution design
- Develop User Acceptance Test (UAT) artifacts such as test scripts, test cases, test conditions, and expected results
- Assist the Module Lead in facilitating stakeholder meetings,
- Provide recommendations on risk identification and risk mitigation strategies
- Participates in data conversions and performs data validations for Mock Conversion and Cutover, writes SQLs and other tools to help with the validation process
- Participates and actively executes tests during Integration Testing. Leads testing sessions in UAT to support business area testers.
- Manage changing priorities to complete project delivery
- Develops appropriate documentation to program standards
- Delivers to the agreed-upon project plan, provides status updates, and proactively identifies Risks & Issues to the Module Lead
- Understanding of full-cycle payroll processing (from time capture through to pay distribution and reporting) is considered an asset
Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Business Systems Analysis.
- Demonstrated business systems analysis experience for Cloud ERP solutions (SAP Cloud preferred) along with experience working with Workforce Software.
- Ability to write SQL queries and experience with data validation and cutover activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Available to undergo and pass Enhanced Security Clearance.
Desirable Requirements
- A relevant degree or professional certification, with a CBAP designation or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification
- Experience with time and attendance systems and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, Dayforce, ADP, SAP, Workforce Software, etc.)
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation (National Payroll Institute) or equivalent certification
- Experience working with Workforce Software
