Our client requires a business analyst for a Digitalized Forms Solution implementation to move the organization to a paperless environment. The resource will be meeting a variety of business users across several workstreams to identify business problems, analyze requirements, document processes, and support the implementation of the solution. Deliverables include requirements documents, process maps, fit-gap analysis, decision analysis, use case testing and create and execute training materials.
This position is designated as a ‘hybrid position’ which requires the resources to work at the office (with occasional work taking place at other Client facilities) at least 20% of the week. An expectation to work at the New Westminster location and travel to other client locations in the Greater Vancouver Area as requested at consultant’s expense. Resource shall be available during the Clients standard business office hours between 7:30AM–5PM Pacific Standard Time.

Responsibilities
- Identify business problems and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to analyze requirements.
- Document detailed business requirements and system design.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and coordinate technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans and testing strategies.
- Support the delivery of training and organizational change management.
Mandatory Requirements
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience including:
- Business Process improvement skills
- Analysis and facilitation skills
- Communication, presentation and writing skills
- Ability to gather, analyze, and consolidate information from a variety of sources (e.g. documents, interviews, brainstorming sessions, etc.)
- Test planning and execution skills
- Ability to work with the software vendor to ‘translate’ business requirements into detailed system specifications
- Knowledge of standard MS Office tools including Microsoft Project and SharePoint
- MS Visio process documentation skills
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working in Occupational Health & Safety (H&S), specifically in Incident Management is beneficial
- Business Analyst Certification (e.g. International Institute of Business Analysis CBAP, PMI PBA, etc.)
- Previous development experience in a technical environment is beneficial
- Lean Six Sigma training
- Vendor management (SaaS) skills
- Agile methodology knowledge
- Organization Change Management (OCM) skills
