Our client requires a business analyst for modernization of a provincial digital health referral network by enhancing interoperability, streamlining referral workflows, and improving coordination across healthcare systems. Resource will be collaborating with multiple product teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define business, data, integration, and non functional requirements for new features and enhancements. This role is focused on Agile delivery, user centric design, and ensuring system performance across interconnected healthcare platforms
Work is onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business, technical, UX, and vendor teams to gather and analyze business, integration, interface, data, and non functional requirements for new builds and system enhancements.
- Create, refine, and maintain user stories and product backlog items in partnership with product owners and Central Intake vendors, ensuring alignment with Agile delivery priorities.
- Document business and system solutions using Agile methodology and support development and execution of end to end functional test scripts.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, support project governance, and manage requirements related risks, assumptions, and constraints.
- Track and report performance and customer experience metrics while supporting continuous process improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and time to market.
- Deliver core outputs including requirements documentation, project documentation, and end to end functional test scripts while managing multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years working experience as a Business Analyst on health care/IT projects
- 7+ years’ excellent documentation, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- 7+ years document business and system solutions using Agile methodology techniques, as well as support the development of test scripts for end to end functional testing.
- 3+ years of working experience on medium-to-high complexity Agile initiatives
Desirable Requirements
- Public Sector experience
- College/University undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience
- Ability to work with Technology teams and business users
- Knowledge/experience in Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Provincial healthcare systems
- Knowledge of Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)
- Knowledge of agile principles and experience in scrum methodology
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent documentation, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to multitask
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
