Our client requires an Enterprise Integration Specialist to support the DTS Modernization Project through the design, development, and implementation of cloud-native integration solutions on the OpenShift platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Apache Camel, MuleSoft, and API-based integrations, with experience delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise integration services. Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft across complex application landscapes is highly desirable.
Work is hybrid with 3 days per week onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Mandatory Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with experience delivering large-scale enterprise IT solutions.
- Advanced experience with Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Enterprise Java, REST APIs, and data transformation technologies (JSON/XML). Experience designing, developing, and supporting MuleSoft integration flows, APIs, and reusable integration services in enterprise environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, including CRM, ERP, asset management, training management, document management, and regulatory/compliance systems.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of fault-tolerant integration patterns, including retries, dead-letter queues (DLQ), monitoring, and data consistency approaches.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, source control, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical integration specifications.
- Ability to work across multiple teams, facilitate technical discussions, and resolve data ownership, governance, and integration challenges
- Public Sector experience is preferred
Desirable Requirements
- Expertise in OpenShift/Kubernetes for containerized deployments; experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, S3)
- Ability to design complex integration solutions, map data flows, and produce clear architectural and technical documentation. Experience applying integration patterns and API-led connectivity principles in MuleSoft-based architectures
