Our client requires five (5) digital data architects to support enterprise digital transformation and service modernization initiatives, providing architectural leadership, technical strategy, and solution design for user-centric digital services. Working within Agile, cross-functional teams, architects are responsible for defining target-state architectures, guiding iterative delivery, aligning solutions with enterprise standards, and leveraging modern data, integration, and software architecture practices to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative digital solutions.
Work is remote within Canada.

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered.
- 5 years demonstrated experience leading cross-functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads.
- 8 years’ experience as a data architect, software architect, or senior data engineer, where the proposed resource’s focus has been collaborative work on and/or with cross-functional teams to create new software applications
- 5 years’ experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for a large-scale Enterprise projects with integrations between systems.
- 4 years’ experience leading domain modelling and database schema design for transactional and reporting systems.
- 5 years strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
Desirable Requirements
- 3 years’ experience aligning data architecture with organizational data strategies, digital service delivery goals, and emerging AI-enabled business capabilities.
- 3 years’ experience applying data governance principles to ensure data consistency, quality, compliance, metadata management, and responsible use of data for analytics and AI solutions.
- 4 years’ experience applying secure development practices and managing identity and access using role-based or attribute-based access control and Zero Trust Architecture principle.
- 5 years’ experience architecting solutions that leverage relational and non-relational databases, analytics platforms, and AI technologies, including data modeling, performance optimization, and the delivery of actionable insights.
- 2 years’ experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed data interoperability and standardization practices into product development workflows.
- 5 years’ experience incrementally transforming legacy systems into modern digital and data-driven services across multiple releases, leveraging cloud-native and AI-enabled technologies where appropriate.
- 2 years’ experience with the government Information Technology/Information Management policies, standards and guidelines.
- 3 years’ experience working within an enterprise organization (preferably public sector), supporting enterprise-scale data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
