Our client requires a Program Manager to provide strategic and operational guidance and direction with a coordinated approach to the management and performance of the program. The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic goals and objectives of projects within the program. This includes project identification, prioritization, resourcing, reporting, and monitoring of projects within the program

Work is onsite or remote (preference for resources available to be onsite).

 

Winnipeg, Manitoba (Remote or Onsite)

Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience managing Information Technology projects
  • Valid PMP Certification or Prince2 Practitioner certification.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with project management methodologies
  • Experience with strategic planning
  • Experience leading and managing a project team within a provincial government setting
  • Understanding of provincial government processes, policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of information technology, cyber security and its strategic application to business
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Strong analysis and problem resolution skills
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time management, and decision making skills
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
