Our client requires a Project Manager to work on the design/implementation plan/program development plan for the Security Program/Practice within the technology delivery. The Project Manager will provide leadership to develop, advise, consult, and manage the design and implementation of information security strategies and controls to ensure consistent plans and security requirements are established to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability.
Resource will work in a hybrid manner with a minimum of 3 days in office and must be available to be on-site when requested for meetings. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must meet or exceed one of the following:
- University graduation in business, management or related discipline, and four years of Project Management (PM) experience; OR
- Two-year diploma in business, management or related discipline and six years of PM experience; OR
- One year certificate in business, management or related discipline and seven years of PM experience; OR
- Eight years of PM experience
- 8 years’ experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- 8 years’ experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
- 8 years’ experience managing custom application development projects with at least 5 team members.
- 8 years’ experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- 8 years’ experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations.
- 8 years’ experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) within a large and complex public sector environment.
Desirable Requirements
- 4 years’ experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios.
- 4 years’ experience creating and managing project forecast and actual budgets.
- 7 years’ experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
- 2 years’ experience making decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity
- 3 years’ experience working in or for the public sector.
- 4 years’ experience working with Mandated and Legislated Projects within short timelines.
- 5 years’ experience leading project governance, change management and communication activities.
- 4 years’ experience working with technical teams on complex IMT projects.
