Our client requires a Request for Requisition Writer to create detailed and accurate requirements for the acquisition of goods. The candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Requisition etc. specifications are in alignment with trade agreements and provincial legislation.

Resource will work onsite. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time.

Edmonton, Alberta (Onsite)

Mandatory Requirements
  • 6 years’ demonstrated experience in executive stakeholder relationship management and engagement (i.e. determining the needs of senior stakeholders and understanding business priorities and pressures).
  • 6 years’ experience assisting in reviewing, evaluating and providing test input during business requirements gathering and detailed design specifications.
  • 6 years’ experience in public sector procurement processes including an understanding of trade agreements and competitive bid law.
  • 6 years’ experience with Providing guidance to procurement officers and stakeholders on defining, interpreting, and applying technical specifications for RFXs (Requests for proposals, quotes, information etc.)
Desirable Requirements
  • Completion of SCMP or other equivalent courses and associated certificates.
  • 4 years’ demonstrated experience with MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 4 years’ demonstrated experience working as Trainer on at least 1 project in a large organization or public service environment, impacting 100+ staff.
  • 4 years’ demonstrated working experience managing complex programs to meet business outcomes
  • 4 years’ experience with professional research methodologies.
