Our client requires a Trainer to assist the Training Lead with creating training materials and conduct training sessions.

Work is onsite or remote (preference for resources available to be onsite).

 

Winnipeg, Manitoba (Remote or Onsite)

Responsibilities

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, design, develop, organize, write, and edit instructor-led training content as well as storyboards for electronic learning modules.
  • Interview Subject Matter Experts to collect necessary information to design and develop blended education solutions.
  • Conduct ongoing needs analysis leveraging end user feedback, field interactions, and subject-matter-expertise to adjust learning strategy and curriculum.
  • Identify and Develop training content for end user based on best medium for content consumption.
  • Prepare and build training content in SAP Enable Now
  • Create and implement custom education programs that demonstrate knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and incorporate best practice delivery techniques.
  • Manage training delivery calendar as established by Training Lead.
  • Work with Service Integrator and the Province of Manitoba and government entities on instructional design and content authoring approaches for training development
  • Conduct training needs assessments.
  • Coordinate Train-The-Trainer sessions and full-scale training delivery in subsequent phases of the project.
  • Positively facilitate stakeholder relationships by consistently supporting the Training Lead and ERP program delivery team.
  • Facilitate formal walk-through of training materials (Train-The-Trainer Sessions) revises content, ongoing course development, as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a training coordinator or management role.
  • Experience with coordinating and contributing to reporting and training materials
  • Strong knowledge in design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in developing training materials, including manuals, presentations, and 3- learning content
  • Familiarity with training authoring tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions, both in-person and virtually
  • Ability to adapt training delivery methods to suit various learning styles and audiences
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience as a Training Coordinator in Public Sector
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and experience in managing training content within an LMS
  • Ability to leverage technology for blended learning approaches
  • Relevant certification in training, instructional design or education
  • Experience in the use of collaboration management tools such as Microsoft Teams
  • Experienced user of MS Office toolset including Microsoft project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • Knowledge of Project Management best practices
  • Experience providing training in Public Service Environment
