Our client requires an Enterprise Architect to provide strategic leadership across enterprise architecture, governance, and digital transformation initiatives within a large, complex public-sector environment. Resource will focus on aligning business strategy with technology through formal architecture frameworks, enterprise roadmaps, and governance models while supporting modernization, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity-aligned solutions. This includes working closely with senior IT and business leaders to drive integrated, scalable, and standards-based architecture outcomes.
Work is 100% onsite in Regina, SK.

Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise architecture strategy, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps to align business priorities with IT platforms, services, and long-term modernization objectives
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference models, and review processes using recognized frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Drive business architecture and capability planning, translating organizational and stakeholder needs into scalable digital capabilities and integrated service models.
- Provide solution architecture oversight for complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, cybersecurity requirements, cloud strategies, and regulatory policies
- Support large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, platform modernization, data integration, and emerging technology assessment
- Mentor and guide architecture teams while collaborating with senior leadership to promote governance, architectural maturity, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Mandatory Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working as a practicing Enterprise Architect as part of a formal architecture practice following industry best practices (i.e. TOGAF).
- Certification in TOGAF 9 or newer.
- Availability and commitment to work a part-time schedule of approximately 24 hours per week for the duration of the contract.
- Ability to work 100% onsite at an office in Regina, Saskatchewan upon contract start date.
Desirable Requirements
- Government Experience (This is heavily weighted)
- Demonstrated experience applying formal architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) to deliver integrated solutions across multiple domains, including Business, Information, Application, Technology, and Security. (This is heavily weighted)
- Demonstrated experience leading Business Capability Planning and the design/development of business services to align IT delivery with organizational goals (preferrably within public sector)
- Demonstrated experience with the design and implementation of Technical Governance Frameworks and the development of enterprise-wide architecture standards. (Must provide detailed examples)
- Demonstrated experience consulting with business and IT leadership to develop consolidated multi-year roadmaps and facilitating the organizational change management practices required to implement them. (This is heavily weighted)
- Demonstrated experience with project portfolio prioritization and management. (This is heavily weighted)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-year capital and operating budget planning for IT initiatives, including the development of comprehensive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) projections.
