Our client requires a Training Specialist to be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining learning materials that support effective use of the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS) across the client organization. This role focuses on identifying performance gaps, translating system and business process requirements into practical training tools, and supporting the delivery of structured virtual training to EPA staff to ensure consistent, confident, and efficient use of DRAS.
Resources will work primarily remotely but must be available to be on-site when requested for large-scale meetings. Work from the office for an occasional meeting will need to be in Alberta. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings.

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor degree or Diploma (in business, communications, adult education etc.) with 3 additional years experience in the area of training.
- 5 years’ experience creating user training materials, technical documentation, and platform support resources.
- 5 years’ experience delivering training sessions via web-based interactive technology i.e. TEAMs.
- 5 years’ experience working on multiple tasks or initiatives with strict timelines, simultaneously.
Desirable Requirements
- 3 years’ experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization (eg. Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users)
- 3 years’ experience developing and delivering training materials including documentation, computer – based training modules and training videos.
- 3 years’ experience developing change management deliverables including Change Strategy and Plans, Training Strategy and Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy and Plans.
- 3 years’ experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows.
- 3 years’ experience fostering effective working relationships with leadership and stakeholders.
- 3 years using feedback analytics to shape/adjust training materiel
