Our client requires a change manager to lead organizational change management (OCM) activities to support the successful delivery of IT projects and digital transformation initiatives. Resource will develop and execute strategies for stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, and adoption, ensuring impacted users transition effectively from current to future state. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of project delivery, SDLC, stakeholder management, and enterprise change frameworks.
Resource will work remotely but must be available to be on-site when requested for meetings. Frequency of meeting could be up to 3-4 times per month. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of organizational change management strategies, including stakeholder assessment, change impact analysis, and implementation of change, communication, and resistance management plans.
- Collaborate with project sponsors, program managers, cross-functional teams, vendors, and trainers to ensure alignment and completion of project activities, schedules, and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver communications materials and presentations for executive and operational audiences
- Conduct readiness assessments, define success metrics, and monitor change progress
- Support risk and issue management
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder meetings, create engaging communications content, and apply change management best practices within project delivery and software development lifecycles (SDLC)
Mandatory Requirements
- Must meet or exceed one of the following combinations of experience: Change Management certification or accreditation (e.g., Prosci, or similar) from a recognized issuing body and 8 years related experience.
- 1 year demonstrated experience working as an Organizational Change Manager on at least 1 complex technology/software application project.
- 8 years’ experience developing change management deliverables (e.g., Change Strategy and Plans, Readiness Assessment, Resistance Management Plan, Change Impact Analysis, Impact Assessments, etc.)
- 5 years’ experience developing effective communication materials for stakeholders.
Desirable Requirements
- 1 year demonstrated experience working as an Organizational Change Manager on at least 1 project in a large organization or public service environment, impacting 100+ staff.
- 5 years’ experience defining and measuring project change success metrics and progress.
- 5 years’ experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization. (eg. Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users)
- 5 years’ experience developing effective communication deliverables (e.g., communication plans, schedules and strategies, etc.).
- 5 years’ experience fostering effective working relationships with leadership and stakeholders.
- 5 years’ experience in change risk management.
- 5 years’ experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
- 1 year experience using MS Office 2016 products or higher versions.
- 1 year experience working in or for the public sector.
- 1 year experience working with or testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (CRM, Finance) or similar platforms.
