Business Analyst (Salesforce)

Our client requires a Business Analyst (Salesforce) to be responsible for interfacing with the client regions and Sector Capacity and Performance (SCP) business teams to complete analysis and develop the appropriate business requirements for the Funding Management System (FMS) project which is currently underway with a vendor leveraging the Salesforce CRM Grants Module. This role will be key in advising the business teams and collaboratively working with the client vendor to ensure business needs are understood by the technical implementation team in an effort to build the appropriate system functionality. FMS will be one of the foundational solutions of the client’s Enterprise CRM Roadmap as they continue to grow their CRM footprint at the organization.

Work is onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Mandatory Requirements

Mandatory Requirements Include:

  • 3+ years of experience in Public Sector with developing complete Salesforce CRM solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce PSS Grantmaking or a closely related Salesforce cloud (e.g. Nonprofit Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Health Cloud, Sales Cloud) Module
  • 5+ years’ experience with Agile SCRUM methodology
  • 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops and User Story creation and overall business requirements analysis documentation
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce and 3rd party system integrations

Required Skills Include:

  • Salesforce Solution Development Skills in Public Sector:
    • 3+ years of experience developing complete Salesforce solutions used in the Public Sector
    • Experience with Public Sector processes and knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Business Requirements artifacts (or similar), processes and practices, and ability to produce requirements documentation that comply with industry standard practices
  • Consulting & communication skills:
    • Proven critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong communications skills to engage with all stakeholders
    • Proven track record for building strong working relationships
    • Excellent customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy to ensure client needs are managed effectively
    • A motivated, flexible, creative team player with perseverance, excellent multi-tasking abilities and a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines
  • Core Skills & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Equivalent Experience
    • 5+ years’ experience with delivering Salesforce CRM solutions
    • 5+ years’ experience in software development methodologies such as Agile and SDLC
    • Agile Scrum Experience
    • Azure Dev Ops Experience
    • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) Certification and/or IIBA Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) Certification
    • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst Certification (an asset)
    • Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant Certification (an asset)
    • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent financial experience (optional)
  • Technical Skills:
    • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce PSS Grantmaking or a closely related Salesforce cloud (e.g. Nonprofit Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, Health Cloud) Module
    • 5+ years’ experience with Agile SCRUM methodology

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, O365, Co-Pilot, SharePoint and Teams
