Business Analyst (D365)

Our client requires a Business Analyst with good experience with Dynamics 365, as well as extensive experience working for government, public sector, or large non-profit organizations, to serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team. While the technical environment leverages technologies such as Azure SQL, Cosmos, .NET, React, and GitHub, this role focuses on senior business analysis activities, including writing user stories (tickets), managing the product backlog, and facilitating Agile ceremonies to ensure the technical team delivers maximum business value.

Resource is not required to work onsite. However, initial onboarding and key stakeholder meetings may require in-person attendance. Following onboarding, work arrangements may be hybrid or fully remote, depending on client’s operational requirements and mutual agreement. Resource must reside in Canada and ensure all work is performed within the country. All work must be completed during regular business hours.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years demonstrated experience performing business analysis within government, public sector, or large non-profit organizations.
  • Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience supporting technology delivery initiatives in an agile or iterative environment, including backlog management, user story development, and sprint support activities.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications include Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Prosci Change Management Certification, or equivalent recognized credentials.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product owners, and technical delivery teams, to support ongoing system enhancements and issue resolution.
