Our client requires a Junior Business Analyst, with experience/knowledge of the Ontario healthcare sector, to support access to eReferral, utilizing the client’s pre-existing onboarding methodology. Validation of Health Information Custodian (HIC) and legal status via the Client Information Form will provide the path forward for identification. This resource will be required to categorize and map clinician end users to the Agency’s pre-approved HIC types and validate the legally responsible person for pre-approval prior to migration to digital health services.
Work is hybrid with 2-3 days per week onsite at client location in Toronto, ON. Work must be performed within the province of Ontario.

Mandatory Requirements
- Understanding of PHIPA principles: consent, collection, use, disclosure, and safeguards of PHI.
- General understanding of the roles of health information custodians and agents under PHIPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes, and conducting stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, with excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Public Sector experience is preferred
- Understanding of the Ontario health care sector and access to digital health services/EHR in Ontario.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of information management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
- Experience with business analysis methods and tools such as business process mapping, business functional modelling, stakeholder engagement, and documentation development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
