Our client requires a Project Manager to manage projects as part of an underway program to replace its legacy insurance platform. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes following client procedures to acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver the project according to plan. To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate that they have successfully delivered technology projects and are comfortable operating in an environment where there can be multiple strong opinions across the project. Candidate must have demonstrated success in representing client’s interest while working with major 3rd party vendors.
The Project Manager will also have a good understanding of hybrid project delivery with multiple delivery streams.
The role is hybrid, the project involves on-site (in one of the client’s Alberta locations) and remote work, requiring seamless coordination and management to ensure successful delivery.

Mandatory Requirements
- 6 plus years of related experience in technology project management
- Familiar with Salesforce technology, development and deployment
- Must be able to demonstrate experience with building trust with team members in a short period of time
- Ability to decipher a lot of information from a variety of intensely passionate stakeholders, identify the core essentials and bring people to a decision in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to identify where roadblocks exist, where decisions are required and implement actions to reduce project churn and maintain momentum.
- Must be able to bring people along with decisions
- Strong communicator – verbal and written. Communication must be clear and consistent across ALL stakeholders, providing regular status reporting
- Previous experience with IT projects essential
- Familiar with leading teams to the establishment of Minimum Viable Product.
- Experience with Agile, waterfall and hybrid project management methodologies
- Familiar with Azure DevOps as an Agile project delivery tool.
Desirable Requirements
- PMP certification
