Sr. Business Analyst (Dynamics)

Our client requires a Senior Business Analyst who has extensive experience working on MS Dynamics 365 projects to join the client’s teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of key systems. Responsibilities include developing business architecture models, coordinating MS Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP integration, and leading data migration and system decommissioning efforts. The resource will also oversee reporting and analytics initiatives to enhance decision-making and support operational transitions.

Resource is not required to work onsite and must work during regular Alberta business hours. Client will not provide any hardware to facilitate any offsite work. If the resource chooses to work onsite, the Client will provide the resource with a desk, as well as hardware and software necessary to produce the deliverables and perform the Services.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in a Business and/or Information Technology-related field
  • Successfully implemented 3 Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems with the customer engagement solutions; OR Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification; OR 2 Years of Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 customer engagement solutions
  • 5 years’ experience managing a Release Management lifecycle, including scheduling, coordinating, and deploying releases across different application environments.
  • 5 years’ experience in ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices and enforcing DevOps policies in team-based environments.
  • 10 years’ experience developing and implementing test plans and test cases mapped to future-state requirements for large-scale IT transformations.
  • 5 years’ experience in developing reporting assets such as dynamic reports, dashboards, and pivot tables using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Desirable Requirements
  • 5 years’ experience working for public sector clients, including government agencies, public organizations, boards, and commissions.
  • 10 years’ experience coordinating the decommissioning of business applications and systems, ensuring smooth transition and integration.
  • 10 years’ experience developing and implementing both business and technical transition plans for migrating business processes and information from one system to another.
  • 10 years’ experience in developing data migration/ETL processes for legacy data and other sources, ensuring proper integration and data integrity.
  • 5 years’ proven experience in providing tailored solutions to social housing organizations, particularly in managing housing systems and improving tenant services.
  • 5 years’ experience working with operation support ticketing tools, including administering, reporting, implementing, and training teams on their use.
  • 10 years expertise in creating and maintaining data models that support business and operational needs, ensuring data integrity and alignment with organizational goals.
  • 10 years’ experience writing technical application support documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, and operational guides
