our client requires a Change Management Specialist to focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, culture and organization structures. Responsible for implementing the Change Management Approach and plan to maximize employee adoption and system usage while minimizing resistance to meet organizational objectives on a large-scale SAP implementation program.

The Change Management Specialist will provide coaching to executive leaders sponsoring the change as well as all levels of leadership as they help their direct reports through transitions. To do this, the Change Management Specialist will coach the functional product owners, corporate partners (e.g., HR Business Partners, Business Financial Analysts, etc.) and the client’s people leaders on change management & change leadership best practices, lessons learned and trends, while designing a tailored change management solution that delivers value and project success.

This role will work primarily with the programs Business Readiness and Human Capital Management Teams and will coach team members in how to integrate change management activities and principles into their work (i.e. Release Management project plans).

Enhanced background check will be required.

Work is hybrid with 2 days minimum per week in Edmonton office + full weeks in office when SI (System Integrator) is in office and requires onsite work. Work must be done within Canada.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of formal change frameworks, impact analysis, stakeholder mapping, and adoption/readiness metrics.
  • Ability to coach senior leaders, functional product owners, and people leaders on guiding teams through organizational transitions.
  • High-level presentation, workshop facilitation, and consensus-building skills across diverse organizational stakeholders.
  • Capability to integrate change management into fast-paced project cycles (e.g., Release Management plans) using innovative, flexible approaches.
  • Ability to translate complex process/system changes into clear messaging and training requirements for end users.
