Our client requires three (3) project managers to lead enterprise AI enablement initiatives across cloud platforms, AI licensing, governance, security, privacy, training, and organizational adoption within a large public sector environment. Responsibilities include delivering AI services from pilot through enterprise production, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring compliance with governance and risk requirements, and managing cloud-based AI platforms, integrations, change management, and operational readiness. Ideal candidates will bring strong project leadership experience, expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud, AI technologies, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise-scale technology transformation.

Resource will work remotely but must be available to be on-site when requested for meetings. Frequency of meeting could be up to 3-4 times per month. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Alberta, due to network and data security issues. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must meet or exceed one of the following:
  • University graduation in business, management or related discipline, and four years of Project Management (PM) experience; OR
  • Two-year diploma in business, management or related discipline and six years of PM experience; OR
  • One year certificate in business, management or related discipline and seven years of PM experience; OR
  • Eight years of PM experience
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 8 years’ experience in developing project schedule plans and strategies, estimate resource requirements, develop and monitor work plans for completion of project tasks.
• 8 years’ experience identifying, analyzing and managing project risks on large, complex projects.
• 2 years’ experience with implementing large scale cloud-based projects and services related to AI service enablement and integration
• 3 years’ experience with Microsoft 365 implementation projects including multiple Office 365 products and requirements

Desirable Requirements

• 1 year experience delivering generative AI or agentic AI tools in an enterprise environment (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Google Gemini Enterprise, Claude Enterprise).
• 5 years’ experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization. (eg. Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users)
• 2 years’ experience implementing chargeback, cost-recovery or consumption/spend reporting for cloud or SaaS services.
• 4 years’ experience in understanding the impact of policies, processes and procedures on performance.
• 5 years’ experience leading large enterprise-scale projects and programs.
• 3 years’ experience leading organizational change management and user adoption for enterprise technology rollouts, including training programs and business champion networks.
• 2 years’ experience managing technology pilots or proofs of concept from evaluation through to production or enterprise service.
• 3 years’ experience planning and coordinating User Acceptance Testing for enterprise technology implementations.
• 2 years’ experience planning and managing the rollout, allocation and lifecycle of enterprise software or SaaS licences, including request and provisioning workflows (e.g., ServiceNow).
• 2 years’ experience with applying security controls in project solutions and designs including STRA and PIA.
• 5 years’ experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering
• 5 years’ experience working in or for the public sector.
