Our client requires a Technical Architect to provide security expertise for the LCM (Life Cycle Management) – F5 load balancer project and daily operations. This architect will participate in workshop discussions and drive activities that address Internet access, operational security, and client configuration for online service consumption. This architect will ensure architecture and designs patterns conform to and/or are implementable with the client’s environment and meet availability requirements. This architect will design, implement and document Internet services (Load balancers, proxies, firewalls, ancillary services) to ensure capacity and availability for on-premises access to and from the load balancer service for both migration and client access.
Work is hybrid with 3 days a week in office at client location in Toronto, ON.

Mandatory Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 10+ years expert level technical proficiency with F5 LTM, APM, ASM, GTM
- 10+ years of progressive experience in computing and information security, including experience with security technology and remediation of Security Incidents.
- 10+ years proficient technical experience working with large enterprise clustered high-availability firewalls, load balancers and proxies, including Checkpoint, Broadcom ProxySG, Zscalar ZIA.
- 10+ years’ advanced understanding of networking technologies and information security best practices.
- Advanced knowledge in Network, Web and Authentication protocols to perform network traffic / packet analysis
- Experience in performing and overseeing technical vulnerability assessments of I&T environment.
- Technical experience working with LAN/WAN wired and wireless network and security technologies in a large enterprise environment.
- Technical experience building clustered enterprise network and Cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Working technical experience in administering remote access infrastructure.
- Working experience with programing language such as Unix/Linux/Windows shell script, Python
- Demonstrated familiarity with intrusion detection and vulnerability assessment in perimeter networks.
- Familiar with theories and requirement of enterprise information security, cloud security, network security, application security, cryptography, and key management
