Our client requires a Project Manager to lead complex technology transformation initiatives with a strong emphasis on software procurement and enterprise project delivery. Responsibilities include end to end project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives through effective project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Success in this role requires extensive experience managing large scale IT projects, vendor coordination, and executive level reporting. Must have project examples of hands-on experience applying Agile/Scrum methodologies in real-world scenarios.
Work is hybrid with 3 days a week onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities
Deliverables include:
- Major deliverables include standard project management reporting tools & other project artifacts
- Managing project plans and completing status reports
- Preparing presentation decks for executive leadership when required
- Supporting Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) and Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings and activities
Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years extensive experience managing all aspects of transformational enterprise-wide/public-facing IT projects with the focus on Agile/Scrum in complex multi-departmental environments (including Scrum ceremonies, planning/scope/timeline management, risk/issues management, timely decision making, critical path identification, user experience optimization, etc.)
- 8-10+ years extensive experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are required.
- 8-10+ years extensive practical experience with Agile/Scrum as Scrum Master, this includes
- Practical experience in Agile/Scrum is essential for success in this role. Extensive hands-on experience with Agile ceremonies facilitation (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and backlog refinement/management
- 5+ years extensive experience delivering high profile, highly visible and mission critical UI modernization projects
Desirable Requirements
- Agile coaching experience, facilitating, mentoring, and training individuals, teams, and organizations to adopt and improve agile practices
- Considerable experience with contract negotiations, procurement procedures and Vendor and Contract Management.
- Understanding/experience with SAFe
