Our client requires an Intermediate Network Designer to be responsible for planning, researching, and designing security architectures within the IT network. This resource will review current network security measures, recommend enhancements, and architect around identified areas of weakness. They will develop and review the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices for client approval as well as research and design public key infrastructures, certification authorities, and digital signatures.
Work is onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.

Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience implementing Azure firewall
- 7+ years’ experience developing and reviewing the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices
- 7+ years’ experience validating IP ranges, routing, DNS, firewall, and migration-related connectivity dependencies.
- 7+ years’ experience reviewing high-level network topology, performing network assessment and address gaps
- 7+ years’ experience confirming site-to-site VPN requirements
Desirable Requirements
- Public Sector experience
- Nice to have certifications (one or more):
- CCNP, CCNA, Wireless Sec
- Certifications: AZ 305 – Azure Solutions Architect
- AZ 700 – Azure Network Engineer
